INSURANCE It is important to note that Insurance is optional . When insurance is declined and an accident occurs, the renters credit card will be charged for all repairs and loss of use of the vehicle. TYPES OF INSURANCE THIRD PARTY LIABILITY Renter pays a Daily Minimum $10.00 . This Protects renter if they injure someone or damage someone else's property under the terms of rental agreement. COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER Renter pays a daily rate of Minimum $20.00 for CDW. This relieves renter of their responsibility for all or part of any rental car damages under the terms of the rental agreement . DEPOSIT When the CDW insurance is declined the Credit Card used to pay for the rental will be charged $1,000.00 immediately. This amount will be immediately refunded when the vehicle is returned in the condition it was rented. Further charges will apply if the vehicle is damaged in any way on return. AGE REQUIREMENT All drivers MUST be at least 25 years old or have had a valid drivers license for a minimum of 5 years accident free. LOCAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS The Government requires that all drivers MUST have a valid St.kitts & Nevis driver's license or purchase a temporary one before renting. These are available on delivery or pick of vehicle. Additionally you may obtain temporary driver's license from the link on our home page. ACCIDENTS All accidents must be reported to the police or agent immediately. CANCELLATION All cancellations must be made as soon as possible and at least 24hr prior to pick-up time.
